Viewlands House offers personal and nursing care for the elderly in a homely and safe environment with freedom to come and go as they please. Staff aim to provide the highest level of care. We provide single rooms with en-suite facilities within the companionship and security of a small household.
The staff respect the residents' physical, social, cultural and spiritual needs.
The staff are aware of the importance of confidentiality regarding residents' private matters.
The residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible but help is always available if and when required. Each resident is respected as an individual and privacy is given at all times. Residents can become involved in any social aspect within the House and are encouraged to become involved in the running of the House. Contact with the wider Community is encouraged.
Visitors are welcome to call at any time of the day, although because of the importance we place on residents enjoying meals together, we encourage visitors to attend outside of meal times unless they have booked to join their relative for a meal.
Our fully qualified and highly experienced team shape care individually around the needs and wishes of each resident. We provide tailored personal care for all residents, and we have a number of rooms suitable for nursing care for residents whose needs are more complex.
Staff are available 24 hours a day and an alarm call system is fitted throughout the house which gives residents peace of mind.
